I love my digital point and shoot, but have wanted to upgrade to a digital that also has manual settings. With your easily understood information you have helped me make that decision. The bulk was the main issue, but I think it will be worth the compromise.

It will be. A good camera bag always helps with bits & pieces but you will get used to handling your new manual in no time.
