Starting a small perennial nursery (first year) and don't know if it is worth my while to buy wholesale seed or not? Plan to grow in my GH on my 5 acre homesite. I was getting pertty bored with the selection at the nurseries in our town and thought I would grow out of the ordinary and PA natives. Is there any reason why I can't purchase seed from a retail source such as T&M and sell the plants? I realize this is more expensive in the long run but buying large amoounts of seed just doesn't make sense to me right now. The wholesale seed companys seem to offer the same old thing. What would you suggest?
