I know the picture is poor, this bird was in the top of my Jacaranda tree, and I don't have a tripod so when I zoom the camera is steady, but does anyone know what this bird is? Notice the short tail. It's not one of those big annoying black birds that comes into the garden and pulls all my tag out of my pots. It had a shrill call, almost like a hummingbird, but louder. It was black and shiney, but it's beak looked white, or yellowish maybe with the sun hitting it this morning. He song was beautiful. He's obviously horny ;)
