Well, DH and I have come to the point in our marriage when we are in separate bedrooms...

the snoring has gotten to the point where only 1 of us gets a good night sleep.
So, he took to Cal.King and moved into the 4th BR, leaving me with the Master.

We went out yesterday and bought me a queen, and after spending most of the evening moving furniture ... now I'm ready to decorate.

Since the Cal.King was at one point a waterbed, I had a nice shelf for knick-knacky stuff, photos, etc... and now have no where to put it... so I need shelves, etc.

I took some photos of my barren walls ... any ideas and pointers would be great.

here is the "north" wall ... the largest 'blank canvass'
it measures 20x8

It is currently "lavender" -- but i was thinking of painting it 'denim' to match my bed spread and curtains
