I just read an article about growing potatoes in a plastic 30 gallon garbage can. Has anyone ever done this? :) It looks very interesting to me since potatoes should never be planted in the same place. It recommends using the soil in your flower bed not your veggie garden since the soil will likely harbor some insects or disease from the seasons crop. I'd be interested to know if anyone has tried this method.
