I recently purchased three "Polly" Alocasias after having seen them on display at an area garden expo in Madison, WI., and I had just checked their roots to see if it was time to repot them. So far, the roots look good, but now I will be more cautious with the watering. As you said, they are in peat at the time. Would a cactus blend of potting soil work for them? Thank you for all the good info.
