I have two beautiful white Bird of Paradise plants that have outgrown their surroundings. They are currently in planter openings in my swimming pool patio and are pushing into the screen enclosure above. I am concerned with 1.) Their cracking the sides of my pool 2.) How do I prune these monsters 3.) Should I have to relocate them, what is the best method to ensure their survival.
This is a new house we have just purchased in Clermont, Fl and I have had no experience with these types of plants.
