I was shocked , excited and but fearful of hurting it when I spied this beauty just a little while ago.
I had to put it out because of my wild child cat MeHide.
Hopefully it will be OK in the thick low shrubs along the Southern part of the house foundation. Whatever happens it is better than being crunched by a cat.
Is it possible that it overwintered on my brugs or ears and just emerged shortly before I found it ?
Cat was going crazy sniffing the floor where I catured the moth. ( I put a large colander over it and slipped a sheet of paper underneath to trap it. )
Oh the excitement ... lol
