Very fascinating and informative article, Todd. I've been toying of adding some conifers to the landscaping for some texture and deeper green coloring. You've given me some wonderful ideas to work with. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic article, thank you so much for writing it Todd! The pictures are great. I'm so excited about the miniature and dwarf conifers I ordered this year. Each time I read or see an article I add a few more to the wish list!
Not only a useful reference, Todd, but an excellent stimulus to prod my lazy bones. After a visit to the Bartlett Arboretum in Stanford, CT several years ago I bought several dwarf conifers, which are doing well in supplying some variety in mixed beds, but I have not been diligent in acquiring others. I'll stop writing now and go look for some catalogs!
