jasmerr,
I already called Excalibur and gave them my info. I talked to "Tom" and he knew about the offer and said he would make sure I got the special price. You might want to email whoever you talked to and let them know to add me to the tally,
Beth

my order # is 08-03-37

Sorry if I jumped the gun, I was so excited!

Are these to be ordered directly from them? And they ship to us?? Not mailed to you and you have to add shipping charges to get them to us??

Merrimac, WI(Zone 4b)

You will (after I have 20 people) order from the company and they will ship directly to you. Please don't order until we have 20 people...that was the condition for the special price.

ByndeweedBeth - hopefully we can the minimum quickly, or I'm not sure they will give you the 15% off.

I decided it wasn't. I've got a timer on my range and another portable one. And I watch stuff pretty close. As far as I could see the timer was the only difference.

Northwest, MO(Zone 5a)

I'm in...I just have to decide what size I want.

Will the 5 tray hold alot of product. It's just my husband and I, but I'm sure I will be drying veggies and fruit for my kids to take home, and I could ship it to them also.

Deb

Southwestern, OH(Zone 6b)

Thanks Jody.

Deb, the 5 tray holds like 8 square feet of product, (i think) the nine tray holds 15.

I just read the temperature plate on the link Jody posted, and you can even raise bread in this! how cool is that!

Hi Jas,

I'm new to the forum. Just sent you a dmail to let you know I'm in also. Thanks for all the hard work. I look forward to participating in the forum. I'm a notorious black-thumb and will need lots of advice. :)

Orofino, ID(Zone 6a)

I have the same question....are we getting too large a machine in the 9 tray for two people...any thoughts on that???? Deb

Buffalo, WV(Zone 7a)

Deb, I think I'm going with the five tray for just that reason. Plus, not a lot of counter space. I think it will be more than enough for dh and I.

Lana

Mesilla Park, NM

Hi Jasm,

Are you going to hold this open till 4/30 or only till you get over 20 orders.. I have to find out in a sneaky way what kind of machine my son has.. he is a hunter and dries meat, but I don't know if he dries it or what (or how) and if he already has one.. I'd like to get him one for Christmas, but it will take me a few days or more to find out ...

Thanks.. A.

Corning, NY(Zone 5a)

Deb,
Im going with the 9 tray, as we do a lot of jerky, I would assume, we would not have to fill each tray to use it, so say we only wanted to do 2-4 trays, I think it would be like my old one, other than it is one solid unit, hope this makes sense, cuz I know what I'm trying to say, just not sure if it is coming out right? :)Anita

For me

9-Tray Large-Excalibur with 26 hour Timer #3926T –
...Retail Price: $299.95 Sale: $ 249.95 Dave’s Garden: $212.45

(Cathy), MO

I went back and forth about the 5 tray vs the 9 tray also, but I decided to go for the bigger one. It will come in handy during fruit season. I can dry a bunch of apples, peaches etc, at the same time. And yes you can always just use what trays you need for other times
