Good article on them. Another one of those plants that I'm not sure how popular they are because I see their seeds for sale at stores, but hardly ever see any growing. An annual must for me.
I was without Calendulas for a few years, and really missed them. This year, I have some new seed in the Flashback series and I found some saved seed from the Touch of Red series that will go out soon. And then there are the big old orange ones that came in a packet of Irish wildflower seeds. Good article.
I agree they are a favorite, will self so here in zone 6. But I too have often wondered why they aren't popular ? I can't imagine my garden without them!

I've never grown them, but have been wanting to, so this year I have winter sown 'Pacific Beauty' and 'Pink Surprise'. I already have some germination on the 'Pink Surprise' and I'm really looking forward to seeing them in the garden.
