I have a few varieties of ornamental grasses that are 4 years old: Last year some of them did not grow in the centers, but did well otherwise. I wonder if I had not trimmed them back early enough. I just cleaned up the plants for this growing season and hope that they improve. Suggestions?
Second problem is that the beds have many small grass plants that have come up from seed. It's very messy looking. How do I get rid of them without harming the desired, mature grasses? I'm afraid of Roundup.
Can you help?
