Some of the items that have been bid on are not showing the high bids, the dutch Hibiscus auction is not showing any bids.

I am curious will there be e-mails that tell you if you have been outbid? I usually do not bid a second time. I usually bid as high as I am willing to go and stop there, but a lot of buyers would rush to bid again if they really wanted an item.

I cannot see the bidders identities, which might be a good thing for everyone concerned, but I like to look at bid histories as a seller, will I be able to see that after the auction closes?

Will there be a way to search closed auctions? I like to do this sometimes to see what an item is selling for, I use this as a bidder and a seller.

Dutch auctions, I believe, should be hidden bidding. Why should buyers see what everyone else is doing?

Yes to the emails.

The identity of the winning bidder will be shown at the auction's close.

Closed auctions will remain available for viewing after they are closed.

Thanks, Dave!

I agree to the fact that no one needs to see a bidders identity, BUT, there are no bids showing on that Hibiscus auction.

i bid on the sunshine, it says current bid $4.00 and 'you have been outbid'

on the enter the bid page, it says:
'You are not the highest bidder! The winning bid right now is $4,201.50.'

Hmmmm it looks like there is good money in sunshine, I hope they don't think it's like moonshine. What did you actually bid?

I'm very used to the way eBay works, so the differences are disconcerting. I'm sure we'll get used to them

Once the B(uy) I(t) N(ow) price has been preempted because somebody bid, will the BIN option disappear? I'm assuming that there is only one Teensy, but perhaps there was more than one box of Caladiums and I didn't notice. It's hard to play without the time element - there's no rush to bid. But this sure is gonna be fun! x, Carrie
