I have soooo many questions and ideas. But now I know at least I am in the right place here at Daves. I'm not great with the computer yet either,so please bare with me. We have a small backyard approx. 40ft x 60 ft w/ a beautiful inground rock "lagoon type" swimming pool. It's about 18 ft x 36 ft. So it takes up a good part of the yard. This will be our 4th summer and I still have not planted one thing new since the landscaper put in the new lawn and 22 climbing rose bushes that cover 3 sides of the yard.with the 4th side being the house and small patio. The summers here for me at least are too hot. My yard faces south which is nice for warming the pool water. But not so good for finding a place to sit in the shade. I wish a had a tree, or maybe vines to cover 2 gazebos we have that are 12 ft x 12ft.(they use to have canvas tops) but we've had to replace them twice, due to the wind ripping them up.Hopefully I will get my son-in-law to teach me how to attach pictures of the yard. Then I can get some help from all of you out there.
