I have a winter blooming sarcococca ruscifolia and love it. I wanted to put it at my cousin's headstone in the cemetary because it isn't too big and doesn't grow too fast. I have had mine for 3 years and it is only 3' tall and 2.5' wide. The fact that it is winter blooming, fragrant and has great evergreen color is good too. However, I just found out that it isn't good in the colder zones and my cousin's plot is in Northfield New Hampshire.
Any ideas of good shrubs that would work in that zone that have the pluses that this one does?
