I am trying to find out the name of a plant my mother just calls Pretty Face. You bring it indoors in the fall, cover it with a bag and bring it out in the spring. It has purple flowers.
Thanks Jim

I'm wondering if it's possibly a Gesneriad, maybe Achimenes? http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/134463/

I planted this, it was supposed to be a stephanotis, it has never bloomed but now little red berries are on it. Is it a stephanotis or something else.

Stephanotis doesn't have red berries and the leaves don't look right so I don't think that's it. And I doubt if Stephanotis would be hardy in Birmingham, if you want to grow it you'll have to keep it in a pot and bring it inside for the winter.
