OK, a miracle happened and Lowe's had this vanda for half price. I have phals and dendrobiums but this is my first vanda.

I've been reading through all the threads about them but I still have two questions.

1. Watering - ok - how do you water a vanda that's in a basket, other than misting? I mean, isn't the water just going to run right through?
2. Fertilizer - can I do that by mixing it in the misting water?

Finally: I know this is not the best photo, but does anyone recognize it? Tag just says vanda hybrid.
Thanks!!!
