Here is the next section. You can still see some of my newspaper and one part hasn't been weeded and mulched yet. There are roses, daylilies and soon there will also be mums.
Here is the center with Belinda's Dream as the centerpiese. There are also LA Iris, Jungle Princess Daylilies, Gerber Daisies, Amaryllis, Lily of the Nile, Society Garlic and another type of daylily.
I think your beds are off to a great start, and I really like the design of the beds. And your Belinda's Dream is just gorgeous! How many plants is that? I'm in Sugar Land, so I'm in your zone.
Thanks. I am really hoping that everything will fill out nicely as it matures. Seems like I am always hoping that since I have changed things every year since I started these beds. I really hope that next year will just be small adjustments and not major overhauls.
There are 4 plants there that are 4 years old. They have done really well for me and truly are maintenance free except for pruning twice a year. Mine came from Antique Rose Emporium.
I just added the others this past Feb, except for Valentine and I have had that one since last year.
