Wonderful article and true blue is the best. I wonder how growing some of these in pots would be where you could regulate its requirements a bit more closely.

I just discovered this source in the last week and hope to visit here on their open house the beginning of June. These people are actually from Switzerland and have so many more unusual and interesting things.
