Loved the tips! printed article so I could remember how to make my own mix. Just wanted to add, if you have an old heating pad, this is great for bottom heating! Just set it on low or med. It works GREAT!

Thanks dmdula-that's a good idea that I've heard too. Critterologist (another member and writer) said something about using rope lights buried in gravel to distribute heat. I've been using the heating pad for my back recently after weekend gardening binges...got out of shape of winter, lol! :)
