They are sooo vibrant and pretty...I have never seen them before and the vendor at a street fair did not know what they were !
Better to bring them in for the winter ?

Here we grow them as annuals, but I think they're actually a perennial, though I'm not sure.

Cineraria is a plant that grows wild in San Francisco, it is a perennial there.
It is a plant that loves cool weather year round, although it will tolerate a few days of heat. It likes days in the 70's, nights in the upper 50's. You can save the seed and start it as long as the soil is cool (60-70), but, you might not get the same color flower. The plant you have is a hybrid and the seed tends to revert to a 'wild' form when grown.
