Thanks for writing about this vital native plant. The trouble here is that farmers just absolutely hate milkweed because it's toxic to animals and it also overruns fields. But the farmers use quantities of herbacides anyway, so I don't know that my milkweed would add that much to their problem.

I think the survival of the butterflies is pretty important too.
