American Goldfinch... Aren't they beautiful right now? They're getting their color back. I counted 12 in my backyard yesterday at one time. Looked like a dozen lemons in my yard. Their song is so cute. And boy can they tear through a bag of finch seed! I think they remember dining on my coneflower last summer and are just waiting for it to boom again.

yup, Jordan... they love the stuff. They're a welcome respite from the house finch that I've been flooded with. I'd much prefer the goldies. But I feed 'em all... even the female finches that aren't nearly as lovely.
