    HI, does anybody know what insect likes to eat cannas ?Itlooks like something just took big bites off of them .

    Japanese beetles maybe. They are horrible this year.

    Grasshoppers eat mine, but don't do near the damage that snails do... the snails don't take large bites out like the grasshoppers, but they do turn the leaves into ribbons, or munch holes in the growing spikes so when the leaves unfurl they have a linear pattern of holes through them... hate snails!
