Hi there everyone,

I have 6 new peonies coming up in every angle of my yard. New construction, so I'm starting from scratch. The peonies look good, some coming along better than others, but they all look very healthy, most have a bud or two showing.

But, isn't the worse time to come for these babies? We have hot, humid summer weather in my area of VA. Any thoughts on protection or special needs. If those buds do bloom this year, I'm I out of the woods? This is my favorite flower, I want to get it right & learn all I can about their needs.
Love, love, love, these plants! Thanks
davis
