Over the past 2 winters rabbits have been devouring bushes and plants in my garden. This past winter they ate 6 clematis, 2 rose bushes, 3 weigelia's, 3 spirea; all down to a nub. They also took a good chunk out of 3 cranberry viburnum and ate everything they could reach on 3 burning bushes. I won't even metion the perennials they have dined on this spring. Although they did this for the first time last winter, I attributed it to the large amount of ice we had. Guess I was wrong. What do I do! This is getting expensive to replace. BTW - in case you were wondering, the clematis were not in the group that needs hard pruning. |
