I am growing these for the first time, and the seeds have really taken off. Can anyone tell me if they will reseed? Also, does anyone know if they will do ok in pukey "soil", and if they will be happy with dappled sunlight?

I have an area where nothing will grow - not even English Ivy!!! (I live on the corner where the snow-plow likes to dump, so you can imagine the rubble, sand, and salt I have there!) I've tried dumping hundreds of Morning Glory seeds, and even they won't invade, though a few have managed to come through. Now I'm trying Amaranthus seed dumps and poppies...and anything else that might reseed and grow.

Your advice will be appreciated!

And look what I found this morning when I was watering the houseplants. A friendly little volunteer!
