After years of NOT gardening, I had forgotten how much difference there is between home-grown and store-bought tomatoes, potatoes, cukes etc. Maybe the store-bought aren't as good as they were 30 years ago, or maybe these aging tastebuds are more discerning, but the taste difference in my area is huge.
