    We have this palm in our front yard. Is this what the seeds look like?

    Do these blossoms later become dates? Also, does this mean that this is a female tree?

    I don't really know that much about them, they do have dates , no idea if they are edible or not .
    Also mine are in groups of three so I don't know about the male and female aspect

    Here is the link to plant files info and somewhere there is a palm discussion forum where someone might be knowledgeable.

    Thanks kniphofia I should take some more they are loaded with pods/blooms right now
