I saw this little insect on a snapdragon blossom in my yard (San Jose, CA) and thought he looked kind of neat. Anyone have any ideas about what this is? Thanks in advance Click the image for an enlarged view.

Another one of these has taken up residence on a lemon tree. I’ve seen this one move around, and it crawls rather slowly. Anyone have any ideas? Click the image for an enlarged view.

I think it's a young katydid nymph, genus Scudderia. Great pictures! |
