A local nursery has some bamboo in 1 gallon pots, it does not have a tags on them but the owner says that they are called "feather bamboo". He mentioned that they are dwarf "feather bamboo", grow to about 3 -4 feet and go dormant in winter (actually they are just coming out of dormancy now since the nursery has had them since last season. He also mentions that they are clumping. Since it is just coming out of dormancy I do not know how the leaves look like. I was unable to find anything about "feather bamboo" on the internet.
Any information appreciated.
thanks,
xman
