I want to re-plant some Heucheras that don't seem to be growing well and I've lost some that need to be planted new. Can I get some tips on soil preparation so I might have more success with my plants? Some just haven't grown into nice full clumps. Then, I lost 5 Lime Ricky's and then replaced them with 5 Key Lime Pies and lost those too in this same one area on a berm (but the other 5 Lime Ricky's are doing pretty good only 5 feet away), go figure? Some of my Peach Flambe's are doing great and then others bit the dust - by way of weevil from the description I read in the forum. I plan on applying the nematodes since we had a couple racoons dig up our yard last fall too, so hopefully that should help! I think the Key Limes are more successful in my area Zone 5 (Chicago) than the Lime Rickey's - does anyone else feel that's true?
Thanks for your help.
