I love rhubarb, but it definitely does not belong in the beds in my front yard. I thought I had dug it all out, but it's BACK! Is this a dig to China type of situation? |

When I want to get rid of a nuisance plant I cut it short and cover it with black plastic for a month and that usually does it. I am one of the don't pollute the earth with round up people. (In other words a tree hugger).
My mother got rid of hers by digging it out for 2 or 3 years until it was all gone. |

That's good advice dale...I often do the equivalent when I turn on the hose and just start watering after it's been lying in the sun all day. |

Oh another idea is white vinegar. I use it on weeds. |
