A dead oak in my neighbor's yard had to come down and an ugly stump is left in her back yard next to our fence. She is asking me for ideas about dressing it up. I have a couple of similar stumps though not as large as this one. I drilled a hole in the stump and poked a stake down the hole and set a flowerpot on top with the stake securint the pot thru the bottom so it won't blow around or be tipped by critters. But I would like other ideas.
There are small children that will play there so we need to avoid spikey and toxic plants.
If anyone has dressed up a stump, post your pic...and if anyone has other creative ideas I would love to have them.
