Determining what plants and the amount of light they can receive is difficult. Do I use perennials designated partial shade, or full shade? Trees are on North, East and West, so some sun about 4 hours max in any one place. Ideas for types of plants? I want a groomed, enchanted, relaxing feel to the garden rooms that would make someone want to sit down in any of the rooms and stay a while.

Good news... Sounds to me like you get extra options by using the partial sun plants. Now - are you getting real sun, or is it filtered through the trees? (Filtered especially makes a difference if you want to add flowers.) ... Have fun.
