Anyone got any new birdies in their gardens that need identification? We just have the same ones around here we've always had. I love birds though so will definitely be watching this thread and hopefully learning about some new ones along the way! |

Can't wait for the Bird Files forum some day! That will be probably my second favorite forum behind Plant Files. I have really been enjoying the Birdwatching forum and wishing I could take good photo's of birds like those folks do!
I finally got a picture of a Mocker in my backyard a couple of days ago and was so tickled that it sat still long enough for me to take it's picture!
I see that photo's can't be posted here on this forum, so if anyone has a bird they are trying to identify, I guess they will have to give a good physical description ... but, maybe admin can change it to allow a photo? As long as it doesn't end up with people posting lots and lots of pictures (which should be on the Bird Watching Forum.)

It's permanent - there are a tremendous number of ID threads I'm finding, so there's certainly enough support for this forum. And I know that Dave is excited about adding a BirdFiles when he's got the time to devote to building it ;o) |

This is so nice! Even just having a seperate forum for IDing makes it so much easier to find. Maybe few les of those oops postings on the wrong thread that some of us tend to do! :)
