My favorite is a couple drops of dish soap in spray bottle full of water for aphids, can use on fruit and vegetable plants, roses and most ornamentals. If too much soap, the blooms will wilt, but the soap is what dries them out and kills them. Also have had good luck blasting them with garden hose if caught early enough when most are just hatched and too small to have wings, they just drown, no chemicals and no hassles.
