| I thought I was out of my mind or the Candid Camera was around when I went down a street in our little subdivision and came upon a yardful of big birds. I've seen cranes and all those big one that live on the water but never one like this and this tiny front yard was covered in them as well as the housetops and a few in the street. Well, turns out they are Black Bellied Whistling Ducks and this particular homeowner feeds them chicken mash. Evidently they are from a Japanese Garden approx.8-10 miles away. They are beautiful birds and a sight to behold right there 2 miles north of I-10 and 2 blocks east of Fry Road.

| I came home and told my husband about the birds but I didn't mention it to anyone else for fear they would think this little ol' lady had flipped her lid or had one too many.

| That would have been a sight to behold! Ducks padding around on a roof top in Houston! LOL I did see a Canada goose on a tree branch the other day. Didn't tell anyone until now - you are the only ones who don't think I'm nuts already. |
