Is there a point at which its not a good idea to set peppers out? I want to put out bhut jolokias in two days but they look like they are about to flower. Better to wait?

everything i have read about peppers and eggplants says to make sure the weather is warm (about 70 deg at night) before setting these plants out cause they don't like the cold.
