This bloome din my yard last year. Either the birds or suirrels or wind brought it in. I have two of these plants growing in my Daylily bed and here they came back again in same spot as last year, so I know they some sort of perennial but haven't the foggiest idea as to what is .
It only gets about a foot to so high and doesn't seem to spread out.
Can anybody , please help me solve this mystery? Click the image for an enlarged view.

Hi Starlight. Haven't been around to see you on the forums.
Maybe something in the nightshade family from the bud shape? |

Hi Drylan... Good to see ya.. You probably like the rest of us going crazy tryign to plant and play catch -up. Thanks for giving it a guess.
Patrick... Thank you very.. very much!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cool!!!!!!! You not only identified it, but the link you sent me. Happened to notice the photographs were taken on Ft. Benning, Ga. Now I know where this plant came from at least, cuz I am on the backside of Ft. Benning.
You couldn't have picked a better link. Sure do appreciate the help and identification! : ) Thanks bunches!
