I'm a reporter with The Associated Press, writing about an increased interest in vegetable gardening this year. I'm looking for new vegetable gardeners whom I can speak with about why they've started gardening. Please contact me through this site

I'll talk to you but I'm in south west florida. I don't know if that would be any help to you.

Ellen,
I'd be happy to speak with you. I live in New York City and have my veggie garden on the eastern end of Long Island. This coming summer is my 2nd with a vegetable garden.

I'd be glad to talk to you also, this is my second time at gardening. I quit for a while, we were renting a place and didn't have a place.

I'd be happy to talk to you from Virginia. I started back into organic vegetable gardening in a larger area after I retired. We've been growing enough for our "table use" for many years, but since I retired I have more time to do what I want to do, so am growing heirlooms, and trying some new varities, and adding new beds for flowers and new fruit and nut trees as well.

This is my first year planting vegetables, or anything actually. I'd be happy to talk to you, I'm in Iowa.
