I know this is probably something everyone else has seen but I was pretty excited this morning when I saw this up close. I was walking around checking my nestboxes when I heard lots of "screaming". When I looked up I saw about 10 little birds chasing after the Hawk who hangs around our yard. I had read about "mobbing" before but I hadn't seem it close up. Here is a picture I got but they a little far a way when I finally got the camera focused. You can clearly see the Hawk out in front.

Good shot little!!! As much as I love raptors I do like seeing the smaller birds chasing them away.

Often a very good way of finding raptors and owls, too - learn the special sounds that small birds use when mobbing, and it'll help you know when and where a raptor or owl is about.

That's definitely a "gang" little! I've seen a couple, but never a flock. Thanks.
