I just wanted to make a note here to let ya'll know that I'm thrilled with the way the marketplace has grown over the last week. There are around 250 products in there now, and lots of great deals. Over $1,000 in sales has already occurred which tells me that eager buyers are being connected with willing sellers. This is all very good news.

I have much work to do to continue to develop the marketplace feature, and I'm monitoring all the threads very closely to learn which features are most needed.

Dave, just want to tell you how happy I am with the Marketplace! It's so easy to list items for sale. And I absolutely love the seller's management area. Super easy to manage! Thank you!

As a buyer, I would like to see subcategories. I.E. under plants ~ succulents, herbs, perennials, annuals, etc.

Hi. I was wondering if someone could help me out. I am going to sell plants here and I want to use paypal as a payment option. How do I set it up for people to pay for their item? I already have a paypal account that I use for selling on e-bay. Do I just need to give customers my paypal address? Thanks

Yes, you give your customers your PayPal address in your invoice after they hit the "pay" button.

Dawn, I discovered this today...when you first go into your sellers area, there are 4 questions (1st time buyer, view your listings, manage your orders and manage or set your preferences, something like that) In the "manage your preference" link, it gives you a place to put your email for your PayPal account, asks if you accept checks and money orders and then where to send the payments to you. This information is then put into a very nice dmail that is sent to the buyer after they commit to buy. I didn't fill it in in the beginning because I was afraid of it being out there in the open for anyone to see. But it is only available to your buyers. DAVE ROCKS!
