    I know these are next to impossible but I have thought that before...

    2nd shot is worse


    duh!! this is not the pic I meant to post! Can not locte the one I though this one was! The pic in the post above this was not a Blue Jay but the pic is so bad...

    #1 American Goldfinch - note stout pinkish-orange bill, plain bright yellow underside, white vent, white undertail with black edges.

    #2 Tough with it being so blurred and hard to judge size. The blackish line round the face on the last pic makes me think Blue Jay; is that OK on size, behaviour, etc.?

    Oops! The one on the wire is definitely a jay... wrong pic!! LOL

    The one on the grass was not a jay. Oh well...

    Did wonder if the 3rd and 4th pics could be different birds! They don't look the same!!

    Sorry, #3 is too poor a pic to identify.
