I introduced categories today, and tried to automatically categorize many of the products that have already been launched. I'm not going to go through and edit 400+ products, though, so please go to this page:

http://davesgarden.com/products/market/sell/manage/index.php...

On that page you will see all your products, and the ones that don't have a category will appear at the top. Click on Edit for each one and assign it a category.

Products without a category won't show up on the site, very soon!

I am assuming 'cuttings' should go under live plants? I cannot find a category that fits it better.

Dave.. How about maybe in the forums listings, put Dg Market place Shopping in Red or something. Lots of folks don't know about looking under products and services.

I even forgoet sometimes and go to forums and click on Dg Market and forget it brings me to this forum until I get here.

Maybe list it in bold or black or Red under this forum on the main forum listings?

I for one JUST noticed to Today( just a few hours ago) that the new Market Place is launched - Just didn't see it before even though I come to visit each day.
I am so excited about it posted already and had a sale in just a few mins after posting!
Great Job Dave~~ Even MORE reason to be a faithful member here!:)

Dave had to do the new tabs because there were too many different features to all fit in one row of tabs. I think I remember him mentioning on another thread that it was either do the tabs like they are now, or stop adding new features. And I think I know which one most of us would prefer! Instead of a tab, I wonder if it would be possible to add it to the row of links just under the tabs on the home page. There's a link there now for the Classifieds, so it seems like it could be appropriate to add a link for the marketplace there too.
