We received some seeds from Mexico and they grew, are somewhat invasive, but are also attractive. They have very pale yellow flowers, round puffs. They get about 40 feet tall, have slender trunks, and lots of beans.
Any help is appreciated.
It's common name here is haole koa, or false koa, after Acacia koa.
Leucaena leucocephala was brought here for cattle fodder. It is employed as a soil building plant because of it's nitrogen fixing qualities, in impoverished areas of the world with poor tropical soils.
