I have a pup up stanless steal stoper its the kind you pull up by hand and push down by hand is there any way to unscrew this stopper to clean out around it to unstop the tub its in a bath tub

It should be threaded, so unscrewing should not be a problem. but you may need a slip-joint pair of pliers or a pipe wrench if the threads are corroded.
