Can someone please explain the difference between- Full Sun/Partial Shade and Full Sun? Also, is morning sun or afternoon sun better for a partial sun plant? Thanks for your help!

Full sun is something like 6+ hrs of direct sun during the day, part sun would be ~4-6 hrs or so. Since you live in an area where I expect your summers get pretty warm morning sun would be better than afternoon sun for your part sun plant.
