I'm not getting too far with the search for the marketplace. After it didn't work, I searched DG to find people's DG homepage, and found their products that way. But the searches should have worked, because they were for things that the sellers still have listed. Just figured I'd mention it.
What were you trying to search for? I tested it a few times and it worked for me. You do have to make sure that you're searching for a plant the way the seller listed it though--for example I searched for "Jade" and several items came up, but when I searched for the Latin name "Crassula" I got no hits because the people who were selling jade plants hadn't included the Latin name in their listings.
I used this search, and typed daylily ( also tried Hemerocallis) in the first field, and Badseed as the seller, and no results. I tried bulbs in that field and dmj1218 in the seller field, same thing.
OK, I see the problem then. I was just searching for jade or daylily, not trying to narrow it to a particular person. I just went in now and tried, and if you just search daylily you get a bunch of results, but then if you try to narrow it by either category or a particular seller it doesn't work. Interestingly, narrowing it by country does appear to work (at least if you choose US as the country, didn't try any other ones)
When I try daylily in the first search field, I just see tonileland's framed photograph and notecards. Which are nice, but I was hoping to look at Badseed's white daylilies again... but I snoozed and losed ! I'm glad she sold them though.
More strangeness! When I use the box in the upper right corner of the marketplace screen to search for "daylily", I get 30 something hits which include lots of plants as well as Toni's notecards. But then when I'm on that screen with the search results, if I click on the search button underneath the boxes where you can narrow down your search, then I only get Toni's notecards (even though I haven't requested it to limit my search by anything). Very strange!
