Here's a time saver for your sellers:

http://davesgarden.com/products/market/sell/prefs/

You can get there by clicking on the Marketplace, then the Seller Management area, then Preferences.

Specify your PayPal address and then choose whether you want to accept checks and/or money orders. If so, then save the page and it will then ask for your mailing address.

Then, the next time you receive an order, it will automatically fill those details in for you in the dmail that is sent to the buyer.

In the future, I plan to incorporate paypal automatic payments directly into the system so that the customer can pay and PayPal will automatically notify the Marketplace of the payment, and the order will automatically by marked as paid, unshipped.

Dave, is it your specific purpose in life to make our lives easier? Because you're doing a good job if it is!
;-)
THANKS!!

Dave--will we have to put our PayPal address on there? This is in case I sell out of something on website prior to being able to immediately get over here and cancel. This allows me to just tell them I'm out of something. Hasn't happened yet, but might very well. I just would prefer to handle it the way I have been. Will this be possible still?

If you enter your paypal address in, it's not going to commit you to selling an order (in case you run out). Currently it's just a convenience that it fills in that information in the dmail that is sent to the customer.

Later, when it becomes automatic, there will be a new preference option to enable the auto-payment area. You will have to opt-in to such a feature.

So, please do feel free to safely put your paypal addy in your preferences.
